Urban Porosity
Urban Institute | San Francisco | Final Project
Fundamentals of Design - Spring 2020 - Instructor : Roddy Creedon
The Urban Institute holds a collection of varied and distinct spaces, exhibitions, and rooms such as a teaching studio, a lecture hall, flexible meeting rooms and exhibition floors for various purposes and needs. Unlike the city in which it is situated, the institute attempts to merge different exterior and interior forces, creating interaction through porosity and movement. Even when fully closed, the Urban Institute is monumentally transparent.
