Antithesis at an Intersection
Intersection | Project 2
Fundamentals of Design - Fall 2019 - Instructor : Cesar Lopez
Spaces created at over an intersection with hierarchy reflected through size and dimension. Large, welcoming gathering spaces were defined with grand entrances, open terraces and wide stairs. Private contemplative spaces were enclosed, secretive and contrasted by single person stairs, long thin hallways with thick walls and cantilever windows. The journey upwards, circulating the void, leads towards contemplation.
